Technology such as smart meters will hold the key to consumers getting behind the transition to net zero by 2050, according to Australian Energy Market Commission chairwoman Anna Collyer.
In a speech on day two of The Australian Financial Review Energy and Climate Summit, Ms Collyer will say that all Australians, including those from low-income households, need to be encouraged to adopt new technologies to pivot to a low emissions economy.
