Mitch Glaser, PhD

Professor of Missions and Theology

Dr. Glaser is the President of Chosen People ministries. He holds a Master of Divinity degree in Old Testament from Talbot School of Theology as well as a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary. He is co-author of The Fall Feasts of Israel and co-editor of To the Jew First, The Gospel According to Isaiah 53, and The People, The Land, and The Future of Israel. His book Isaiah 53 Explained has over 100,000 copies in print. Mitch often teaches at schools such as the Feinberg Center, Talbot School of Theology, Fuller Theological Seminary, Moody Bible Institute.

Alan Shore, PhD

Professor of New Testament and Jewish Culture

Alan Shore holds a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. in Modern Jewish History and Culture from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California. As a Jewish believer from New York City who came to faith in Jesus in 1975 in Paris, Alan has served with Chosen People Ministries for over 25 years in a variety of capacities including staff writer and national ministries representative. His groundbreaking book Uncommon Allies: American Jews and Christians Uniting against Hitler, 1933-1945 is due to be published in August 2025.

Daniel Nessim, PhD

Professor of Theology and History

Daniel has served with Chosen People Ministries in the USA, Canada, and the U.K. A Jewish disciple of Yeshua, he is currently Dean of the Chosen People Bible Institute (CPBI) and leads a Messianic congregation in Vancouver BC. Daniel holds a Master of Arts from Regent College and a Ph.D. in Theology and Religion from the University of Exeter, England. He has authored several books, including Derech Yeshua: The Way of Salvation and Torah for Gentiles? What the Jewish Authors of the Didache Had to Say. In addition to CPBI, Daniel teaches in various Messianic theological institutions.

Robert Walter, MDiv

Lecturer in New Testament

Robert Walter leads the ministry of Chosen People Ministries in New York and lectures at the Charles L. Feinberg Center for Messianic Jewish Studies. God has laid a heavy burden on his heart to proclaim Jesus among God’s chosen people. He holds a bachelor's degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University and a Master of Divinity from the Feinberg Center. Robert serves as a congregational leader at Beth Sar Shalom in Brooklyn and is the New York regional director of Chosen People Ministries. He also co-hosts The Chosen People radio program with Mitch Glaser and teaches first-year Greek at the Feinberg Center.

Rich Flashman, DMin

Professor of the Hebrew Bible

Richard Flashman Rich was raised in a Jewish family in Massachusetts. After reading Isaiah 53 in college, Rich realized Jesus was Israel’s promised Messiah. Rich has a Master of Divinity and a Master of Theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School as well as a Doctor of Ministry in Christian Leadership from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Presently, Rich serves at the Feinberg Center as the dean of students, director of field education, and a professor. He leads the Manhattan branch of Chosen People Ministries and helped plant (and pastors) a Messianic congregation in Brooklyn.

Brian Crawford, DMin

Professor of Messianic Apologetics

Brian Crawford received his Master of Divinity from the Feinberg Center in 2015 and Doctor of Ministry from Talbot School of Theology in 2021. His book The Scandal of a Divine Messiah is due to be published later this year. Brian received a call to share the gospel with Jewish people after visiting Israel in 2005 and has served with Chosen People Ministries since 2011. He is Chosen People Ministries’ director of digital evangelism and is focused on explaining the good news of Jesus to Jewish people online. Brian and his college sweetheart Liz have three young children. After nine years ministering to Jewish people in Brooklyn they now live in California.

David Sedaca

Professor of Biblical Archaeology

David Sedaca initially earned his BA (Cum Laude) from Harvard and later studied Judaism in New York and Jewish studies at the University of Belgrano. As “Permanent Visiting Scholar” he is currently professor of Biblical Archaeology and Biblical Studies at Hebrew University’s Rothberg Institute of International Studies in Jerusalem. He has served as Messianic Rabbi in three congregations, and as Executive Secretary and CEO of the International Messianic Jewish Alliance. His article are regularly published in theological journals and Christian magazines. His latest book is The Endurance of Israel: A Brief History of the Jewish People.

About Us

The Chosen People Bible Institute is designed for people who do not have the time or resources to attend seminary but are ever-learning believers. If this is you, you are in the right place

Our Offerings

We have structured our course of study to provide you with an overview of different aspects of the Bible and the Jewishness of faith in Jesus. The classes we have made available will help you grow in your understanding of both the Old and New Testaments. We will add new courses to the program from time to time, so please stay tuned.

Get Involved

To get started, please create an account Here. Once we confirm your account, you can select any of the courses available, some of them are free, others will have a registration fee. No matter what your study pace is, we have designed each course so you can take them on any device and from anywhere as long as you have internet access. You will want to be in a quieter space, though, to listen to the instructor and take notes to help you absorb as much of the valuable information as you can! The courses do not have assigned homework—the assignments are minimal. If you wish to speak to your instructor, you can choose to do so from the chat feature on the Chosen People Bible Institute website once you are logged in and in the corresponding course itself. The courses are programmed for you to do as much or as little work as you have time to devote to it. We pray your experience helps you learn to love the Word of God at a deeper level and allows you to see your faith in Jesus with new eyes and a Jewish perspective.
